Papillon Quality Gourmet is a cozy coffee and tea spot nestled in the heart of Lafayette's Fiesta Square, offering a casual yet thoughtful environment that caters well to locals and visitors alike. This place has a clear neighborhood vibe, with a quaint outdoor seating area that encourages lingering over a drink, catching up with friends, or simply unwinding after errands or a stroll.

What stands out here is the diverse drink menu, particularly if you’re into more adventurous sips beyond your typical coffee. Their boba teas — including flavors like mango green tea and taro milk tea — are crafted fresh, making for a refreshing break anytime after mid-morning. The option to customize drinks with oat, soy, or coconut milk, plus extras like boba or flavor shots, shows an attention to detail that lets people tailor their orders to their preferences.

Alongside drinks, the pastries and sandwiches hold their own and fit nicely into the coffee shop's rhythm. Think chewy, toasted raisin bagels and simple yet satisfying options like smoked salmon or egg sausage bagels — practical for a quick breakfast or lunch stop. Their doughnuts and more unique finds, such as Taiyaki and Pastel De Nata, provide small indulgences that complement the beverage lineup well.

The atmosphere tends to attract a mix of locals—families and workers—as well as casual passersby. The outdoor seating area serves as a gentle invitation to enjoy Lafayette’s mild weather, especially in the late morning or early afternoon. It’s a fitting spot to grab a solid cold brew or bubble tea after shopping nearby or popping in for a quick energy boost mid-day.

Overall, Papillon Quality Gourmet works well for people looking for a reliable neighborhood spot where coffee quality meets a laid-back, approachable atmosphere with a little extra variety in the drink and snack options. It's a place where you might start your day with a protein shake or swing by for a refreshing matcha lemonade, all without the rush or fuss of busier cafes downtown.

Lovely family owned business. They sell very good coffee and pastries. I've started coming here because their cold brews are strong and reasonably priced. Lots of locals and quaint outdoor seating area.

A cute coffee shop with a primo spot in Fiesta square in Lafayette. Really close to five Little monkeys toy store. I can imagine coming here after shopping for toys.to get a bagel with cream cheese and a juice! I ordered the gone banana protein shake that was rather sweet and had 24 gms of protein. Kinda too sweet. Raisin bagel was perfect chewy toasted. Overall a good place to pick up a quickie bite.

Stopped by from out of town for a quick drink. Decided to order a Boba drink instead of a usual coffee, and got a mango green tea. It was surprisingly good! Very refreshing and it was made to order within 5-10 minutes even though there were a few orders. I'd recommend this as a quick stop for anyone both in/out of town!
